Were looking for a Manager, Business Development to play a critical role in designing and scaling the CRM and other connected systems that drives growth across our clients membership, government, and private sector channels. This position is about laying the foundation for future development growth opportunities. success. You'll lead the design of scalable systems, clean and centralize critical revenue data, and shape efficient sales pipelines. If youre passionate about operational excellence and excited by the challenge of building from scratch in a mission-driven, startup environment, wed love to hear from you.YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:Designing and optimizing sales and membership pipelines to support long-term revenue generation.Cleaning, managing, and enhancing an evolving membership database to ensure accuracy and usability.Recommending and leading CRM system implementation, with an eye toward efficiency, data security, and cross-functional integration.Generating leads across philanthropic, corporate, and government sectors, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.Organizing development-focused roundtables, workshops, and conferences to uncover partnerships and revenue opportunities.Collaborating across departments (finance, programs, and government relations) to centralize and track revenue streams.Developing business plans, sales collateral, presentations, and documentation that support growth strategies.Supporting ad-hoc strategic initiatives and reporting on KPIs tied to revenue and engagement goals.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.5+ years of experience in business development, revenue operations, or membership-based organizations.Demonstrated success in building systems and processes from the ground up, ideally in a startup or resource-constrained environment.Hands-on CRM experience, including selection, implementation, and optimization of platforms like HubSpot or Salesforce.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.Ability to work with minimal oversight while collaborating across functional teams.Experience navigating private sector sales cycles, with the flexibility to operate within government governance constraints.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with digital productivity and CRM tools.
