About the OpportunityOur client is a premier construction management and general contracting firm with a national footprint and a reputation for delivering complex ICI projects with excellence. Due to continued growth, they are actively seeking a Senior Estimator to take a leadership role in their preconstruction team based in Mississauga.This is a strategic opportunity for an experienced professional to join a high-performing team involved in major new build institutional, commercial, and industrial projects across the GTA. The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing large-scale estimates, mentoring junior estimators, and driving bidding strategies that align with company objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end estimating process for new build ICI projects valued between $20M and $150M+Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documentation to prepare comprehensive and competitive cost estimatesDevelop tender and bid strategies in collaboration with senior leadership and project teamsManage the preparation and submission of tender documents, RFPs, and budget estimatesConduct risk analysis, cost control reviews, and value engineering exercisesLiaise with architects, consultants, clients, and subcontractors to clarify scope and resolve discrepanciesMaintain an updated database of material, labor, and equipment costsProvide mentorship, guidance, and technical support to junior and intermediate estimatorsParticipate in post-bid reviews, contract negotiations, and hand-off to project execution teamsQualifications8+ years of estimating experience within the ICI construction sector, ideally focused on large-scale new build projectsDegree or diploma in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related disciplineProven ability to manage estimates on projects valued $50M+Advanced proficiency with estimating tools such as Timberline, On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, or similar platformsExcellent understanding of construction processes, codes, and industry practicesStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a deadline-driven, team-oriented environmentWhy This Role?Lead bids on marquee ICI developments across OntarioCompetitive compensation package with performance incentivesCareer growth within a forward-thinking, established contractorWork alongside a highly skilled and supportive preconstruction teamComprehensive benefits and professional development opportunities
