Key Responsibilities Team Leadership Build and lead a high-performing team, focusing on Optical and leadership skills. Inspire, motivate, and develop team members personally and professionally, embodying Bailey Nelson's core values. Foster a feedback culture and ensure team engagement. Drive team performance through coaching and motivation. Ensure focus on weekly metrics and goals. Recruit and onboard exceptional team members. Provide coaching, training, and development to all team members. Customer Journey / Experience Ensure outstanding customer service and a positive experience by modeling the BN customer journey. Lead the team to exceed customer expectations with product knowledge. Respond to individual customer feedback for personalized service. Foster relationships with Optometrists for seamless transitions. Spend most of your time on the shop floor engaging with customers and staff. Financial Performance Manage store operations efficiently, including staffing and budget adherence. Drive revenue growth and monitor KPIs. Manage costs, review P&L statements, and ensure safety procedures. Communicate KPIs clearly and coach the team to meet targets. Product Maintain solid product knowledge across frames, accessories, and lenses. Lead inventory counts and ensure proper merchandising. Stay updated on new product launches and provide feedback. Collaborate with Optometrists on contact lens trials. Store Operations Run the store effectively, engaging with customers and staff. Build strong relationships within the team and with Optometrists. Implement core values and manage scheduling. Prioritize customer service, merchandise effectively, and analyze performance data for improvements. Clinical and Professional Standards Work with Optometrists to ensure quality clinical service. Maintain adherence to prescription standards and accuracy in orders. Support remote testing and partner with optical staff for quality checks. Training & Development Develop the team through regular evaluations and training programs. Utilize optical and leadership training resources. Complete optical skills programs to enhance team expertise. Loss & Prevention Protect store assets and implement security controls. Ensure safety, legal compliance, and adherence to policies. Skills, Attributes, and Experience 2-3 years management experience preferred. Proven leadership and team-building skills. Track record of achieving sales targets and driving profitability. Ability to motivate staff and foster a positive environment. Experience in marketing and promotional activities. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Basic understanding of optics is a plus. Ability to prioritize and work under deadlines. Enthusiastic, proactive, and customer-focused.
