The Opportunity: The company is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Administrative Assistant. This individual will help our growing company find success. They will be responsible for supporting the administrative and financial functions of the company. This role includes managing inventory by operating the truck scale, including recording, and processing the related transactions. There will also be general administrative and bookkeeping tasks, including supporting the accounts payable and receivable functions of the company to ensure efficient office operations. What youll do: Operate the truck scale, managing incoming/outgoing bulk seed deliveries, including recording and processing scale information Assist with the inventory management of bagged product, including preparing bills of lading and doing periodic inventory counts. Assist with the timely and accurate entry of invoices, POs, and work orders. Generate reports to support sales and operations activities Perform a variety of administrative and clerical office support activities for multiple staff, ensuring timely adherence to both internal and external deadlines Act as a first point of contact for customer service Review, sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and couriers Coordinate and schedule internal and external meetings, appointments and travel arrangements Maintain and monitor office supply inventory levels and place orders as required Develop a thorough understanding of internal programs and processes Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes Knowledge and Skills: Minimum of two years administrative assistant experience Great organizational skills with the ability to multi-task Great communication and customer service skills Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, Word and Outlook) Experience and competence with telephone skills; Accounting experience is an asset If you are interested in working for a growing company that maintains family values and has a focus on success please visit our website and Apply Now.
