Financial Management Expert Wanted We are seeking a skilled financial management expert to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, preparing monthly bank reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. About the Opportunity: Prepare GL entries for weekly, monthly and year-end reports; Process payments to suppliers and prepare receiving for in-bound goods; Prepare summary reports at the end of every month by preparing monthly bank reconciliations and operational accruals and maintaining full sets of accounts for 3 companies; Prepare monthly commission reports and payments for sales representatives in Canada and the USA; Conduct HST/GST filing on a monthly basis; Other related duties as require About You We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper with excellent knowledge of financial management principles and practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Required Skills and Qualifications: 5+ years of bookkeeping experience; Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software; Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records; Proven working experience in full-cycle accounting; Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers; Excellent understanding of bookkeeping and GL posting; Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy; Excellent communication skills and high proficiency in English; Quick learner and easily adaptable to new tasks; Customer service orientation and negotiation skills; Knowledge of office management systems and procedures; Working knowledge of office equipment like printers and fax machines; Proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular); We have proprietary accounting software; Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work; Attention to detail and problem-solving skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; High School degree; additional qualification as accounting;
