Position: EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) and HR AdvisorStatus: PermanentLocation: Laval, QuebecSalary : 70-75k + benefitsThis role administers all health programs and supports various aspects of health, safety, and the environment. It also provides assistance with a range of human resources programs and services, including but not limited to: benefits, training, and payroll.Responsibilities:Adhere to the company's Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs and provide support to the EHS Coordinator and team.Administer plant health programs (audiometry, health risks, heat stress, mobile equipment, respiratory protection, etc.).Manage and track all employee injuries and illnesses.Schedule nurse visits for medical programs and prepare the necessary documentation.Administer and maintain the EHS website.Provide monthly statistics on EHS incidents.Maintain the SDS (Safety Data Sheet) and chemical database.Keep the sampling database up to date.Conduct shop floor audits on various EHS aspects.Support EHS Representatives during audits.Learn and understand the company's EHS rules and regulations.Wear protective equipment as needed.Follow all safety rules and report safety hazards, unsafe acts, and any incidents per company procedures.Support HR Advisors with various tasks (payroll, HR databases, benefits, etc.).Provide various information to employees.Requirements:Perfectly bilingual - French and EnglishA minimum of 4-5 years of Health and Safety experienceAtleast 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentPositive attitude, organized and motivatedIf you qualify for this role, apply today!
