Job Description

Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic supply chain department as a Supply Chain Coordinator. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business. Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating materials and services, maintaining inventory levels, and nurturing relationships with vendors and colleagues to resolve issues and drive efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and purchase materials and services, expediting purchase orders within contract terms and conditions. - Collaborate with the site materials team to maintain targeted inventory levels and purchase required inventory through analysis of SAP MRP and direct spend data. - Ensure accurate vendor information in SAP, including names, contacts, and payment details. - Maintain up-to-date vendor pricing and delivery times in SAP agreements and records. - Work closely with the site inventory analyst to optimize inventory levels and efficiencies. - Conduct third-party checks for new and renewed vendors. - Process SAP purchase orders for the Saskatoon office and McClean Lake operation. - Foster positive relationships with teams, vendors, and contractors to support optimal service, cost efficiency, and timely delivery. - Resolve purchase order and invoice discrepancies with vendors. - Assist in preparing and tracking key performance indicator (KPI) reports. - Responsible for disposing of nonconforming inventory materials and equipment. - Collaborate with accounts payable to resolve invoicing discrepancies. - Oversee vendor sustainability reporting and vendor prequalification processes. Requirements: - SCMP certification or bachelor''s degree in business, commerce, accounting, or relevant field. - Minimum 5-7 years of relevant administrative experience, preferably in supply chain or accounting. - Experience in expediting material orders and sourcing alternate products. - Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and SAP software. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. - Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills to coordinate efforts and meet deadlines. - Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
