Position#: 251133 Position: Senior Application Design / Architect (Azure API/ .NET) Position Type: Permanent No. of Positions: 1 Location: GTA, ON Description This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Application Designer to lead the architecture and design of application solutions in a dynamic, collaborative environment. This role focuses on designing scalable, secure, and high-performing applications (.NET/C#) with a strong emphasis on Azure-based integration architecture. The successful candidate will lead an internal development team, collaborate across technical and business teams, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and principles. The position offers a competitive salary package (Base + RSP and Full Medical Support), with a hybrid setup in a dynamic and team-centered environment. Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end application architecture and design process for integration and automation solutions across enterprise platforms. Architect and deliver reusable, scalable, and secure solutions using Azure API Management , Azure Functions , Logic Apps , and other Azure services. Collaborate with system integration teams to ensure cohesive application architecture aligned with business goals and technology strategy. Serve as a hands-on technical expert, guiding design decisions, conducting code reviews, and ensuring compliance with best practices and enterprise guidelines. Partner with development teams ( .NET/C#) to implement application frameworks, provide mentorship, and support DevOps pipelines and CI/CD integrations. Create technical documentation and architectural blueprints that support scalability, maintainability, and cross-team collaboration. Support risk identification, mitigation planning, and decision-making during all phases of the system development lifecycle. Qualifications 10+ years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on application architecture and design . Proven experience architecting enterprise applications using Azure services, such as API Management, Functions, Logic Apps, and Event Grid. Deep expertise in API design principles , including RESTful architecture, security protocols, versioning, and governance. Solid hands-on development experience with .NET (C#) and familiarity with modern application frameworks and patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven). Strong understanding of cloud architecture , cloud security, and Azure platform services. Demonstrated success leading application initiatives within Agile SDLC environments. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. We thank all candidates in advance.
