Customs Specialist Alliston, ON A global trading company has an immediate opening for a Customs Specialist for an 18-month contract. This hybrid role is based in the Barrie area, and gives you the opportunity to gain fantastic experience as part of an amazing team. This role is responsible for preparing custom clearance entries and application of due diligence to all customs regulations. A key requirement for the role is a Qualified Officer who has passed the Customs Brokers Professional Exam administered by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). REQUIREMENTS Completion of CBSA Customs Broker exam. Minimum 2 years of recent, up-to-date customs experience. Strong eye for detail, ability to identify and resolve issues. Ability to work under tight deadlines. Experienced with export documentation including HHS codes, commercial invoices, certificate of origin, insurance and letters of credit any of these would be an asset. COMPENSATION: $70,000 - $90,000 plus excellent company perks and benefits package.
