Venor has partnered with Iron Maple Constructors to hire a Superintendent to drive the successful execution of projects across Atlantic Canada. What youll be doing: Overseeing and organizing all on-site project activities, including both self-performed and subcontracted work. Ensuring that construction projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in line with Iron Maples quality and safety standards. Leading on-site teams by fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment that motivates team members and subcontractors. Acting as the primary site liaison, coordinating effectively with clients, consultants, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Championing safety by enforcing company safety protocols and fostering a culture of accountability. Managing day-to-day site activities, including scheduling, quality control, and progress reporting. Traveling as needed to project locations across Atlantic Canada. What we are looking for: The ideal candidate will have 5 years experience working as a Superintendent with a General Contractor in the industrial, commercial, institutional (ICI), or multi-tenant residential sectors. They will possess strong leadership and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to independently manage all phases of construction projectsfrom contract award to successful handover. Effective communication and a collaborative, team-first mindset is essential, as is the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders. A solid understanding of construction methods, combined with a commitment to delivering high-quality, safe outcomes, is key to success in this role. Familiarity with the Atlantic Canada construction market is important, along with a willingness and ability to travel as needed for project assignments across the region. Proficiency with construction technology is expected, and experience with Procore is considered a strong asset. Gold Seal Certification would be a valuable addition.
