About the Role This isnt your run-of-the-mill dispatcher gig. Were looking for a Dispatch / Customer Service & Operations Supervisor a leader who will not only manage our day-to-day dispatch and customer service functions but also mentor our drivers , support HR onboarding , and be a key part of our safety-first operational culture. What You''''ll Be Doing DISPATCH & LOGISTICS Oversee and manage daily dispatch operations across multiple fuel delivery trucks Balance routing efficiency with customer demands to maximize driver productivity Adapt quickly to changing circumstances rerouting on the fly, solving problems fast Communicate in real time with drivers, customers, and stakeholders DRIVER MENTORSHIP & FIELD LEADERSHIP Act as a go-to support for our driving team offering coaching, direction, and performance feedback Partner with drivers on achieving route, safety, and customer service excellence Conduct ride-alongs, field checks, and performance reviews when needed Cultivate a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and accountability on the ground CUSTOMER SERVICE & RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT Field and resolve customer service inquiries professionally and promptly Ensure consistent communication and service follow-through Help build long-term customer relationships that are based on trust and reliability SAFETY & COMPLIANCE Promote and enforce safe work practices and operational procedures Participate in and support incident investigations, equipment audits, and site inspections Maintain accurate safety documentation and compliance tracking for field operations HR & ONBOARDING SUPPORT Work directly with the HR team to support driver recruitment, onboarding, and training Conduct and track driver orientation sessions, qualification checks, and ongoing compliance Maintain driver documentation including abstracts, certifications, and license renewals ADMINISTRATIVE & SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT Use dispatch and logistics software to track loads, delivery progress, and driver availability Support fuel order documentation, billing inquiries, and service records Provide operational reporting to management as required Who You Are A confident leader with a background in dispatching, logistics, field operations, or transportation Skilled at mentoring frontline workers (especially drivers) and building high-performing teams Comfortable wearing multiple hats balancing logistics, safety, service, and HR support Familiar with fuel, propane, or transportation industry operations (preferred) Strong communicator both in the field and on the phone Technically adept familiar with Microsoft Office and dispatch systems Thrives in high-pressure environments with shifting priorities Detail-oriented, organized, and never afraid to roll up your sleeves Committed to customer service excellence and safe work practices Nice-to-Haves Previous experience in fuel, propane, or trucking operations Class 3 or 1 license (even better if you''''ve been in the cab before!)
