Through this spirit, we practice thoughtfulness, dedication to the needs of others and meticulous attention to every aspect of our products and service.Brand OverviewNARS Cosmetics is a cosmetics and skin care company with various multi-use beauty products and is now a subsidiary of Shiseido.Job purposeThe Sales and Education Executive is responsible for sales planning and execution, managing accounts, and motivating their team of retail beauty consultants within the assigned region.The individual in this role will provide strategic, operational and creative leadership to assigned retail accounts. Key responsibilities include development and execution of strategies to achieve retail and net sales plans.Duties and responsibilitiesSales Planning & ExecutionAchieve retail sales targets for assigned brands and accounts by partnering with retail management, motivating and managing sales staff and implementing marketing initiatives.Maximize profit contribution by increasing sales, managing expenses and negotiating retailer support.Collaborate and execute successful events as mandated by the brandNARS EducationThrough in-person or virtual personal/group sessions and events, you will use your artistry skills, brand knowledge and product expertise to ensure that each customer, BA and retailer partner walks away with understanding the NARS vision and brand authority. Engaging customers with rich brand history, tips and tricks and NARS icons to build brand loyalty.Lead French education sessions including local/regional NSOMaintain high engagement with NARS Digital StudioLeverage provided tools to uphold NARS education standardsSupport local activationsAccount ServiceProvide exceptional service to assigned store accountsWork with store management teams to analyze the retail results and identify opportunities to develop the business to achieve and exceed sales plansConduct formal quarterly/monthly business review in key accountsConduct seasonal marketing presentations to all accountsPlan and execute special events to create animationMotivating Retailer Beauty ConsultantsManage, mentor, and develop Beauty Consultants/freelance members in all assigned storesBe the lead representative of Beauty Consultants by being responsible for Shiseido Omotenashi standardMaximize job satisfaction, increase productivity and reduce turnover rateProvide in-store coaching of business skills and product knowledgeActively manage and review retailer/region specific KPIsManage regional gratis, BA gifts, samples, collateral and other consumer facing toolsUphold the Shiseido Brand Values and Management PrinciplesRepresent the brand image and uphold the brand standards in corporate and retail settingsCommunicating the Shiseido story and corporate cultureStrong proactive, reactive and creative problem-solving abilities to evolve with marketQualificationsUniversity Degree or College Diploma in Business related disciplinesPreferred experience as an MUAStrong leadership, analytical, negotiating, and organizational abilitiesMinimum 5 years retail sales experience ideally in the cosmetic industryValid drivers license and the ability to travel to all assigned accountsExcellent computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPointBilingual (French/English) required to service accounts and communicate with head office in Markham, OntarioPrior experience working at Sephora or in a similar beauty retail environment is an assetMust be detail oriented and ability to multi-taskExcellent organizational skillsTrust 8 CompetenciesBelow is a list of Trust 8 Competencies designed to help employees at Shiseido Americas succeed as the company continues to evolve and innovate.Think Big: Adapt a big-picture perspective.
