Unity is seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Construction Contract Administrator to join our team. This leadership role is critical to delivering complex, multi-million-dollar architectural projects and ensuring excellence throughout the Construction Administration (CA) phase. Project Leadership Act as the primary liaison between contractors, clients, and consultants Attend and represent the Architect at Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) and construction coordination meetings Conduct regular site reviews and issue detailed site reports Manage logs and documentation for RFIs, submittals, changes, and payment certification Oversee close-out processes and ensure compliance with the Construction Act in Ontario Quality Assurance & Technical Excellence Support Quality Control reviews of construction documents before formal issuance Lead Quality Assurance inspections and verify compliance with contract documents, specifications, and design intent Promote best practices in contract administration and technical execution Monitor construction quality, schedule, and fee performance across projects Team Leadership & Mentorship Mentor Construction Administration staff and support their technical development Collaborate with leadership to identify and resolve project delivery issues and improve standards Anticipate coordination challenges through early document reviews Participate in leadership meetings on project performance and planning Studio Culture & Collaboration Foster strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors Contribute to Unitys culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement Support operational excellence and uphold Unitys reputation for service and integrity What You Bring 7-10 years in construction contract administration (with experience on complex public-sector projects) Exceptional command of CCDC contracts, Ontario Construction Act, and construction law best practices Proven ability to improve technical workflows and implement quality-first protocols Strong communication skillswritten, visual, and interpersonal Tech-savvy, with fluency in: Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD, Procore, Autodesk Build, and Autodesk Construction Cloud A strategic mindset with the ability to balance details and big-picture priorities Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle What We Offer Leadership role in a values-driven B Corp firm A culture that encourages innovation, transparency, and trust Competitive salary + growth path Hybrid work structure Health benefits, $1500 education allowance, paid professional dues Unity is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive workplace.
