The Role As an account manager, you will play a critical role in guiding the company to achieve our growth goals as we further expand our product offering into retail. With a hands-on approach, you will establish and nurture partnerships with our Corporate gifting clients, you will own and grow a specific territory of high performing boutique accounts, you will also be essential in scaling and maintaining ongoing key account relationships. You are a solutions-focused, detail-driven, and action-oriented leader who drives revenue growth and builds key relationships to deliver on wholesale channel targets. The Responsibilities Develop and manage our wholesale departments annual sales and promotional plan by customer, category, and SKU, Manage your own book of business for the wholesale department broken out by 50% corporate gifting, 30% boutique and 20% key accounts including drop shipping partners respectively Lead the team to expand and manage existing accounts to ensure fully executed sales plans are achieved, goals are exceeded, and partnership goals are in place that align with the overall strategy Identify and secure new customers and channels, as well as build programs to support their scaling Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts that allow us to have a deepened relationship and partnership that is mutually beneficial Meet (and exceed) targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts Coordinate the involvement of internal teamsincluding support, service, and management resourcesin order to meet account performance objectives and customers expectations Proactively lead a strategic account planning process that includes key account promotions within regional retailers and priority accounts Develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones that support launch, development, and long-term partnerships Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis Participate in regular market visits and actively engage with key customers Work with Marketing to build out any necessary trade and shopper marketing strategy Lead, identify, recruit, and retain a balanced and diverse team based on strengths and role fit, supported by relevant knowledge, skills, and experience Continuously work with team members to understand the day-to-day business while influencing key strategic decisions The Qualifications You excel in a high-growth environment You are an executional expertyou can juggle multiple balls at once while finding efficiencies You are customer-focused, proactive, and team-oriented You have an inquisitive personality; you dive deep into issues to uncover the why You are action-oriented You have 3+ years experience in the consumer-packaged-goods and/or natural health food industry You have 3+ years of key account management / sales experience in Canada and/or the USA You have experience managing distributor and/or broker relationships You have team development and/or leadership experience You have standout interpersonal and relationship-building skills You are organized and detail-oriented The Perks Full extended benefits Salary + Commission compensation package The ability to work remotely If you are interested in this position, please send your resume and cover letter to careers@vitruvi.com, and include the job title in your subject line.
