We are currently seeking an IT Specialist who will collaborate with clients on their technology needs, contribute to projects, and handle support requests. The primary function of this position is to assess and handle the technical support requests on-site and remote for Netsmart Clients. Create and monitor ticket resolution status.Manage the administration and maintenance of local area network services, overseeing firewalls, switches, access points (APs), and other interconnected devices.Implementation and maintenance of corporate backup systemsAdminister virus protection and removalCoordinate vendor technical support as requiredImplement and comply with site-specific operations and security policiesAdhere to all IT policies and procedures set by Netsmart management.Travel as needed to remote client sitesAssisting other IT teams as neededMust be available to participate in rotating emergency on-call support and weekend projectsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsTechnical diploma or equivalent is preferred.Microsoft 365 and Azure AD experience is a necessity.Experience with Cisco/Meraki and Fortinet is an asset.Higher salaries given to those who have complimentary Industry certifications.Strong technical aptitude, especially relating to PC and Server hardware.
