SMS Manager Responsibilities: Assist all investigators and auditors through the SMS reporting process Conduct investigations of safety-related incidents/accidents and hazards as required Conduct audits of the effectiveness of corrective action taken to remedy safety incidents/accidents and hazards as required, including making recommendations for improvement Monitor, report, analyze trends in the SMS program and make recommendations to senior management, including tracking completion and effectiveness Contribute to local and corporate management review of the SMS program Develop and disseminate safety-related documentation, including SMS Bulletins, Maintenance Alerts, monthly status reports, SMS Committee meeting minutes based on target audience Demonstrate excellent communication skills while maintaining confidentiality
