Pools may be used to staff other similar positions of various tenures and linguistic profiles at Transport Canada.Positions to be filled : Number to be determinedInformation you must provideIn order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)EDUCATIONED1 : A secondary school diploma.ED2 : Successful completion of a post-secondary diploma / degree in aircraft maintenance or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience related to aircraft maintenance and / or manufacturing.OCCUPATIONAL CERTIFICATIONOC : A valid Canadian Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) Licence.EXPERIENCEEX1 : Recentexperience :Holding Aircraft Certifying Authority (ACA) or Shop Certifying Authority (SCA) in a Canadian approved aircraft maintenance organization (AMO) and / or holding certifying authority within a Canadian approved manufacturing organization,Holding supervisory or maintenance control or quality assurance responsibilities in an AMO or Canadian approved manufacturer,in the performance of complex activities in a wide variety of situations and has six (6) or more years of Industry experience as a licensed AME.demonstrating an increasing level of responsibility throughout their career.Recent, experience acquired within the last 6 years.By extensive experience, we expect the candidate has performed complex activities in a wide variety of situations.If you possess any of the following, your application must also clearly explain how you meet it (other qualifications)Depending on the position being staffed, any of the following qualifications may also be deemed as an essential qualification and only candidates and persons with a priority entitlement who possess those qualifications will be considered for that specific vacancy.
