Northern Health is seeking a champion with leadership experience to join our Continuous Improvement department.The Quality Improvement Lead provides leadership and support for quality improvement within the Health Service Delivery Area (HSDA). The role involves developing and implementing HSDA plans aligned with strategic and operational objectives, advancing quality and patient safety, and working with the Quality and Innovation Team to deliver education and training on quality improvement methodologies.Starting salary will be approximately from $106,026 to $132,533, based on education, training, experience, and comparable positions.About Fort St. JohnKnown as 'The Energetic City,' Fort St. John boasts a large resource base of oil, natural gas, forestry, and agriculture. International applicants should consult the Northern Health careers page for additional steps.QualificationsMasters degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or a related field, with 7-10 years of experience in quality and process improvement, preferably in healthcare.Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Preferred training in Lean, Six Sigma, Model for Improvement, or Quality Management.Skills and AbilitiesDeep knowledge of quality improvement principles and their application in healthcare.Strong leadership skills to motivate teams and drive change.Effective communication and empathetic engagement with team members.Ability to foster a positive work environment and collaborate across diverse teams.Analytical skills to connect issues, data, and systems for innovative solutions.Capacity to lead, coach, and promote continuous learning in quality improvement.Proficiency in facilitating workshops and training sessions.Ability to build trusting partnerships and work collaboratively.Motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented with organizational and project management skills.Understanding of cultural safety and humility, especially regarding Indigenous peoples.Willingness and ability to travel.Who We AreNorthern Health spans nearly 600,000 km, serving over 300,000 residents across numerous communities, including 55 First Nations.
