Sr Technical Program Manager, Payments Acceptance and ExperienceWe are seeking an experienced Sr Technical Program Manager to lead Payment Acceptance and Experience initiatives. This role will work closer with cross-functional teams to build critical payment solutions for Amazon customers (front and back end).Key job responsibilities- Manage the lifecycle of multiple complex cross-functional programs with considerable impact.- Clearly communicate progress, risks, pivots and outcomes of programs to stakeholders and leadership with effective narratives.- Ensure that stakeholders are aligned by driving mindful discussions that lead to crisp decisions.- Work together with software development engineers to focus and dive deep into critical technology areas.- Collaborate in planning process. Be accountable for the overall technical strategy as well as shepherding teams.- Partner with product managers and engineering teams to determine which projects move forward and in what priority order.A day in the lifeWe love working in an agile environment, we run our daily standup and try to minimize the number of any other meetings.About the teamOur mission is to expand the Payment Methodoptions our customers have, by launching newAlternative Payment Methods (APMs). We aimto simplify payments architecture and raise thebar in the payment experience.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience- 3+ years of software development experience- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedulesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadershipAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
