Director, Child Care Development - #25-075 Competition # 25-075 Compensation $110,000 - $139,000 Classification Leadership 4 Location Cranbrook Fort St. John Hybrid Prince George Surrey Terrace Period of Employment Permanent Hours of Work Full Time, 37.5 hours/week Date Posted May 23, 2025 Closing Date About the Opportunity The Director, Child Care Development provides leadership in designing and advancing culturally grounded, accessible, and community-centered child care services for Mtis children and families across British Columbia. Reporting to the Executive Director of the Ministry of Education, this role plays a key part in shaping and implementing MNBCs Child Care Plan, supporting Mtis Chartered Communities, and fostering cross-sector partnerships. The Director oversees strategic planning, program compliance, and supports the growth of culturally relevant Mtis child care, strengthening collaboration with communities, government, and stakeholders to realize MNBCs vision for Mtis-led early learning and care.
