Job Summary The Logistics Coordinator acts as a key liaison between the sales team, warehouse staff, and transportation providers to effectively communicate and fulfill customer logistics requirements. This role is responsible for recording all inbound packages received at the head office and coordinating the shipment of packages requested by internal staff. The Logistics Coordinator also supports the Inbound Specialist with various tasks related to inbound shipments, including invoice reviews and preparing daily reports. Additionally, this role involves performing systematic inventory movements as needed. Daily communication with internal staff, the warehouse, and transportation providers is essential to ensure smooth logistics operations. Key Responsibilities Communicate customer shipping requirements to the warehouse and transportation providers. Track shipments and obtain proof of delivery upon request from internal staff. Monitor the open delivery report to ensure timely shipments from the warehouse. Obtain freight rates as requested by internal staff. Issue return authorizations to transportation providers for damaged or refused shipments. Generate and distribute logistics reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Receive and log all inbound packages at the head office and arrange outbound shipments as requested by internal staff. Assist the Inbound Specialist with tasks related to inbound shipments, including data entry in the Access database. Perform and record inventory movements in SAP, and communicate changes as needed. Request cycle counts from the warehouse for orders with reported shortages or overages. Collect and organize documentation for freight claim processing. Support the Senior Logistics Manager with various tasks as needed. Provide backup support across the department as required. Qualifications High school Diploma or equivalent 1+ years experience working in a professional environment/office. Customer service experienced preferred Previous Logistics experience is an asset Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Teams). Strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and work independently. Strong communication skills. Must have excellent attention to detail. Work Conditions Extended periods of sitting.
