The Opportunity The Director of Sales & Marketing at Form Solutions plays a critical role in driving the company''''s revenue growth, brand awareness, and market positioning. This is a full-time employment position. You will work from your home office but will be expected to attend numerous meetings in-office. This position will likely involve 40% 50% travel to locations in Canada and USA. Below are the core responsibilities: Sales Responsibilities (70% Focus): Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with the companys overall business goals. Identify target markets and key customer segments. Revenue Growth: Set and achieve sales targets, quotas, and forecasts. Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals. Sales Team Management: Recruit, train, and lead the sales team. You will have seven direct reports. Set performance metrics, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide ongoing coaching. Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty through consistent follow-ups and addressing client concerns. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competition, and industry trends. Utilize insights to refine sales strategies and identify new opportunities. Sales Operations: Oversee the sales operations, including CRM systems, sales processes, and reporting. Collaborate with the finance department on pricing strategies and sales budgeting. Marketing Responsibilities (20% Focus): Marketing Strategy Development: Create and execute comprehensive marketing plans that align with business objectives. Define and manage the marketing budget to optimize ROI. The primary marketing focus will be trade and home shows, point-of-sale marketing at retail locations and job sites, and contributions to the Logix Brands social media marketing programs. Brand Management: Oversee brand positioning, ensuring consistency across all channels and materials. Develop strategies for enhancing brand visibility and reputation. Content Creation & Management: Assist in the creation of marketing content, including brochures, websites, blogs, and video content. Ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with brand values. Lead Generation: Develop and implement regional and local strategies for generating high-quality leads. Collaborate with the sales team to nurture leads and convert them into customers. Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to understand consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape. Partnerships & Alliances: Identify and establish strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance marketing efforts and expand market reach. Cross-Functional Responsibilities (10% Focus): Collaboration with Other Departments, and with other Consortium Partners: Work closely with production, customer service and finance teams to ensure alignment on company objectives and initiatives. Collaborate with Logix Brands support personnel and the sales and technical teams of our consortium partners. Reporting & Analytics: Regularly report on sales and marketing performance to the executive team. Utilize data to measure the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven decisions. Budget Management: Manage and allocate resources efficiently. Ensure that all activities are cost-effective and within budget. Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Continuously seek ways to innovate and improve sales and marketing processes. Able to effectively deliver presentations to large audiences. Strong technical aptitude for residential and light commercial construction. Insulated Concrete Form construction experience is a bonus.
