We are committed to providing our clients with the highest quality products and services.About the RoleAs a key member of a growing small business you will be relied on to take-on whatever challenges the day brings. Reporting directly to the founders, the key expectation of the role is to focus on supporting the sales functions by fulfilling our product orders in a structured and accurate manner.Sales ResponsibilitiesCustomer Assistance & SupportAssist customers online, or over the phone, utilizing email, text, phone calls - whatever method the individual customer prefers.Answer product or service-related inquiries.Provide recommendations based on customer needs.Order ProcessingEnter and process sales orders accurately into the system.Track orders from start to finish, specifically jewelry orders to ensure accuracy and timeliness.Lead ManagementFollow up on inbound leads and inquiries.Document customer interactions in CRM or sales systems.Key Account ManagementGenerate leads by proactively engaging with current customers.Weekly and bi-monthly check-ins with assigned accounts to improve customer service, retention in order to increase sales and orders.Build rapport with repeat customers.Resolve basic issues or escalate complex problems to senior staff.Product KnowledgeMaintain a good understanding of the products or services.Communicate key features and benefits effectively.Sales ReportingLog daily sales activity and results.Assist in maintaining accurate inventory and sales records.Fulfillment ResponsibilitiesOrder Picking & PackingSelect items for customer orders from inventory.Pack items securely and according to shipping standards.Shipping CoordinationPrepare shipments for carriers (UPS, FedEx, etc.).Label packages correctly.Track and trace all packages daily to ensure deliveries.Inventory Management SupportPerform stock counts and help with restocking.Report low inventory or discrepancies.Returns & ExchangesProcess returned merchandise according to policy.Warehouse or Stockroom MaintenanceKeep work area organized and clean.Delivery Coordination (if applicable)Assist with local deliveries or coordinate with delivery partners.Ensure delivery records are updated and accurate.QualificationsPure Carbon is a startup backed by over 25 years of industry experience and relationships. Other minimum requirements are:Legally authorized to work in Canada.May require a criminal background check.Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, email, data entry, excel knowledge a plus).Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills.Attention to detail in order processing and packing.Ability to follow instructions and standard procedures.Time management and multitasking ability.This role is in-person at our office in Vancouver.CompensationThe compensation is commensurate with experience of the candidate.Benefits: Health/dental benefits packageVacation: Three weeks Vacation to start; increases to four weeks in year three.Other:Extra days off Christmas/New Years; we typically close for several extra days during December. You will not be required to work and will still be paid.Birthdays off; you will never have to work your birthday!Bi-monthly flexible Fridays during July/August; every other week you get a long weekend!Application ProcessApplicants are to apply by June 30.
