The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in lighting sales, particularly within the architectural and design sectors, and will be adept at building and maintaining strong client relationships. In addition to base salary, this role also includes commission.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.Identify and cultivate relationships with specifiers and other key stakeholders.Provide expert guidance on lighting solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs and project specifications.Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.Collaborate with the design and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience selling to the A&D communityStrong network within the architectural and design community in the GTA and surrounding areas.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to travel within the city for time-sensitive work-related travel. Access to a personal vehicle, preferred.Candidates may be required to provide verification of closed projects exceeding $500K+ annually may be required.
