Building on AGFs existing alternatives and private markets experience, the team is tasked with developing and implementing a long-term strategic plan to build a multi-boutique alternatives business that will stand alongside AGFs public markets business and expand the breadth of offerings and value proposition to our clients.A small team, designed to be nimble and forward thinking, we operate with a flat structure and shared responsibility, with each team member working across a range of tasks and leveraging AGFs breadth of resources on behalf of our affiliate managers.AGF Capital Partners multi-boutique structure currently serves three affiliates:Kensington Capital Partners, a Toronto based mid-market private equity and venture capital asset manager with $2.6 billion of assets under management.New Holland Capital, a New York based multi-strategy, absolute return asset manager with US$5.5 billion of assets under management.AGF | SAF Private Credit Management, a joint venture with SAF Group, a Calgary based private credit manager, focused on mid-market direct lending in Canada.AGF Capital Partners affiliate managers collectively manage approximately $12B in AUM across private equity, private credit, venture capital and hedge fund strategies.Your Responsibilities:Ensure investor requests and questions are accurately and promptly addressed by collaborating with the team and service providersSupport business development efforts to help increase sales and market share of AGF Capital Partners productsCoordinate and assist with ongoing due diligence requests from potential and existing investors (RFPs, DDQs, investment case studies, online data rooms).Assist with the development of meeting material preparation as needed (PowerPoint decks, Word, Excel)Coordinate all aspects of Capital Partners events (client meetings, appreciation, product manager presentations, team accountability meetings, and portfolio management presentations)Maintain client related information in AGFs CRM databasePrioritize incoming emails and respond to both internal and client inquiries/requestsAssist with the distribution of outbound investor communication including update notices, quarterly investor letters, financial statements, tax documentation, etc.Manage new investor documentation, including reflecting changes on existing investor information, and handle ongoing compliance-related requests in an accurate and timely mannerAd hoc administrative requestsYour Qualifications:1-4 years of prior experience in a sales and/or client service role within the financial services industry is a strong assetRelated post-secondary educationAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and OutlookExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong relationship building skills with an ability to quickly build rapport with clients over the phoneAbility to manage multiple client requests and projectsExcellent interpersonal skills, combined with a high degree of professionalismStrong planning and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to use sound judgement when prioritizing deliverables and competing prioritiesExcellent attention to detailAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesSolutions-focused, with the ability to summarize matters succinctly and offer ideas to rectify issuesAbility to take initiative, work both independently and in a team environmentStrong organizational time management and problem-solving skillsExperience using a CRM system preferably SalesforceAbility to learn new systems quickly (i.e. Concur and Salesforce)Knowledge of the financial industry would be an asset
