Our client, a well-established and respected Canadian distributor in the automotive and industrial battery sector, is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to support and grow their business in Northern Ontario. Ideally based in Sudbury or North Bay, this role offers a unique opportunity to manage an existing customer base while developing new business within a defined and strategically important region. With a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and customer-centric values, this is an excellent opportunity to join an industry leader and make a meaningful impact.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESBe the Frontline Sales Leader Grow your territory by developing new business and expanding existing accounts to meet sales targets.Conduct regular in-person service visits to key accounts ensuring consistent support, smooth deliveries, and responsive follow-up.Identify opportunities to introduce additional product lines and upsell existing ones.Provide product knowledge and technical support that builds trust and adds value.Deliver a Best-in-Class Customer ExperienceOffer training on new products and applications to ensure customers use them effectively and confidently.Act as a dependable point of contact resolving concerns quickly and escalating any issues when necessary.Perform battery inspections and core returns, reinforcing quality and efficiency at every step.Maintain professional, productive relationships with customers you're not just a representative, you're their go-to expert.Manage Your Territory Like Its Your BusinessUse Salesforce and internal tools to track activity, update customer records, and manage your call schedule.Monitor inventory at customer sites using a FIFO system, support warranty management, and ensure accurate scrap/core returns.Support physical inventory counts and report on sales performance, market opportunities, and customer feedback.Keep an eye out for channel conflicts and alert leadership when needed.Support Operations & Keep Things MovingCoordinate delivery and pick-up cycles, sometimes jumping in to make local emergency deliveries yourself.Handle basic shipping documentation and support the warehouse with receiving, labeling, and organizing product.Take pride in your company vehicle perform inspections, keep it clean, and follow the maintenance schedule.QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma required; additional training in business or a related field is a strong asset. Minimum 6 months of sales or service experience. Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or industrial battery sectors preferred. Strong customer focus with the ability to build lasting relationships. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Self-driven and able to work independently while supporting team goals. Clear and effective communication skills, including product demos and training. Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce. Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record.
