Elevate Your Career in Inspection Advisor II with AirswiftJoin a leading organization in the Oil & Gas industry as an Inspection Advisor II, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring quality and compliance for the organization in Kearl, Alberta.Role OverviewBuild and maintain relationships with contractors, fabricators, and equipment vendors involved in the business' projects.Review fabrication and Vendor ITPs, weld procedures, NDE procedures, and quality manuals.Conduct vendor drawing reviews for piping, towers, drums, exchangers, and steel modules.Witness hydrotests at fabricator shops and refineries as needed.Identify defects or deviations during inspections and report them accordingly.Visit shops to witness hold points during fabrication and sign-off.Write reports summarizing findings and observations at fabrication shops.Collaborate with Sarnia teams to ensure readiness for module reception.Ensure quality of newly fabricated equipment meets industry standards.Troubleshoot inspection-related issues as they arise during the project.Review final Inspection Release Notices (IRN) before module shipment.Assist project engineers and QA/QC lead in resolving non-conformances.Liaise with the Sarnia Inspector for fabrication and inspection activities.Monitor the closeout of punch lists for incomplete activities.Implement the Construction Surveillance Program.Monitor compliance with regulatory and statutory quality requirements.Skills & QualificationsInspection: Strong background in inspection, observation, and testing.Quality Assurance: Experience executing project quality assurance activities.Oil & Gas Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with quality requirements and principles in the Oil & Gas sector.Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel to project sites for support.Certifications: Possession of CWB Level 2, API 510, or API 570 is required.Education & ExperienceExperience: Previous experience in a closely related position is essential.Unlock your potential with Airswift.
