Must haves: Millwright Red Seal certification Ability to rebuild gearboxes and milling/machining Has completed overhaul of machines Be able to troubleshoot issues with a conveyor and take the motor out Rebuild pumps and fix valves, knowledge of pneumatics Lathe and Welding experience Assets Working with fast paced equipment Any sort of automation experience Refrigeration and Compressor license Apprenticeship The Role: The Maintenance Millwright will be responsible for repair and troubleshooting of our food production equipment with continued attention to preventative maintenance. Qualifications At least 18 years of age Red Seal Industrial Mechanic Millwright certificate 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate is an asset Minimum of one-year previous electrical experience in a food plant environment Strong mechanical background Must be able to read and write English as there is possibility of severe injury to self or others due to nature of work Cost exposure to the company is greater than $1,000 Familiar with the safe operation of hand tools Team player who shows initiative, reliability and flexibility Must be able to work with minimal amount of supervision in a fast-paced environment Other duties as assigned Frequently lifting/carrying a maximum of 80 lbs Occasionally pushing/pulling/lifting a maximum of 100 lbs (with the aid of a mechanical device)
