Job opportunitiesGeneral Labourer - Day ShiftShareJob Description Duties for this position will include, but not be limited to, the followingProvide general labour support to the paint shop:hand painting and cleaning of select steel materials and joistmoving material and/ or equipment within the paint shopgeneral cleanliness and organization for the paintshopLoad and unload materials, both manually and with hoists or forkliftsEnsure proper storage and restock of paint materialsMaintain cleanliness and organization of work areasProvide general labour support as needed throughout the plantReport any safety hazards, damage or required repairs to supervisorsHandle cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with Safety Data Sheets (SDS)Practice good housekeeping, including 5S requirements, and time management in the performance of daily dutiesComply with all legislated and Company Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality and Lean policies, procedures and programsPerform all other duties as assignedCompany DescriptionCanam Group specializes in designing and fabricating metal components for the North American construction industry. The role involves a general office setting and constant exposure to computer display. Safety PPE (personal protective equipment) must be worn while onsite (steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses, etc.).
