Learn more about working at Ledcor - watch here Responsibilities: Primarily operate 15-35T excavators and other equipment to perform civil work Fill out and understand an equipment logbook Perform daily basic service and preventative maintenance on equipment Interprets verbal and non-verbal communication (including hand signals) from operators, ground personnel and Labourers, and acts accordingly Recognize existing and potential hazards and know how to identify these through conducting a field level pre-job hazard analysis, checking the machine for hazards and assessing any tasks before starting Operate equipment in a safe manner be willing to comply with Ledcors safety commitments Qualifications / Requirements: Minimum 3 years experience operating excavators and various other heavy equipment Demonstrate skills and experience with finish grade work Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision Successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing Valid government photo ID (drivers license, passport etc.) Client online orientations must be completed Work Conditions: Position commencing as soon as possible Work schedule: 4 days on, and 3 days off plus statutory holidays off, 40 hours per week Extended health benefits provided by CLAC This is a local position-candidates must reside in the Greater Edmonton area.
