Luceo Legal offers expert legal services to clients navigating complex litigation and takes pride in lighting the way to legal solutions for clients, with a focus on professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail. Luceo Legal is seeking a highly dedicated and detail-oriented Law Clerk/Office Manager to support the growing firm. This is a fully remote role which requires a commitment to meeting deadlines with precision, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Key Responsibilities Include: A) Litigation Support & File Management Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and affidavits; Assist with the discovery process, including document production and review; Prepare costs outlines for motions and hearings; Prepare court forms and file documents electronically using Ontarios Justice Services Online portal; Maintain up-to-date records and case management systems; Handle enforcement procedures, including liaising with the enforcement office, working with ONWrit, and coordinating writs of seizure and sale; and, Upload and manage electronic court filings through Case Center (formerly CaseLines). B) Administrative & Office Management Manage file opening procedures, including attendance at preliminary client intake interviews, addressing conflict checks, document organization, and file organization; Track and manage internal deadlines and court deadlines, ensuring all filings and procedural steps are completed on time; Oversee billing and financial administration using Clio; and, Ensure efficient and effective office organization and administrative processes. C) Requirements 5+ years of experience working as a law clerk in Civil Litigation; Law Clerk diploma or comparable legal education (for example, paralegal education); Experience with Clio and legal billing; Proficiency in Ontarios Justice Services Online portal; Proficiency in Case Center (formerly CaseLines), including document collation and electronic court submissions; Experience with enforcement proceedings, ONWrit, and working with the enforcement office; Strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and court rules; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, PDF software, and legal document management; Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment; and, Exceptional attention to detail, excellent judgment, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage deadlines under pressure.
