Workrise is looking for an E&M Planner (Electrical and Maintenance) Location: Sarnia, Ontario Start: Mid-June 2025 | Duration: 1 year (potential extension) We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team in Sarnia, ON . In this role, you'll focus on future work planning so supervisors can focus on day-to-day execution. You'll handle job planning, labor estimates, materials, and Maximo work ordersall while keeping safety and collaboration front and center. What you'll do: Manage and track work orders in Maximo Estimate labor and craft hours required for work Walk job sites to scope work, flag hazards, and ensure safe execution Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, engineers, and techs Requisition materials, monitor PM compliance, and update plans as needed Lead weekly planning meetings and keep stakeholders aligned What you bring: 5+ years of relevant experience (or a solid mix of experience + education) High School Diploma or GED required Strong communication, organization, and team skills Experience with Maximo is preferred Ability to read P&IDs, isometrics , and OEM manuals Oil & gas industry knowledge is a plus Work Environment: Based at the Sarnia Terminal (60% office / 40% field) Local travel (50100 km/day); occasional evenings/weekends required Exposure to extreme temps and industrial environments Safety-sensitive role: D&A test + valid Drivers Abstract required Must be local to the Sarnia area
