There is a population of approximately 35,000 in Williams Lake and surrounding areas with a total population of 62,000 for the Cariboo Regional District. A vast array of lakes, rivers and hiking and biking trails makes Williams Lake and the surrounding area a great place for outdoor enthusiasts to camp, fish, hunt and play during the summer months while winter months bring the enjoyment of snowmobiling, skiing, snowboarding, and ice fishing. Cariboo Memorial Hospital (CMH) is currently a Level 2 Community Hospital in Williams Lake with 28 inpatient beds and offers ER, OR, Med-Surg, and Obstetrical units. Lab and diagnostic imaging and outpatient Hemodialysis Unit are operated on-site. The CMH redevelopment project includes an addition to the existing hospital as well as renovations to the existing facility. The addition will add 25 inpatient beds for a total of 53, a new emergency department, and a mental-health unit. Deni House is adjacent to CMH and embodies a resident-centered philosophy designed to help people function at their highest level and provide the best quality of life. Deni House has 13 private and 5 three-bed rooms. Nine of the beds are designated as short stay, including 2 palliative beds. We are seeking a General Radiologist to join the team at Cariboo Memorial Hospital (CMH). We offer an extensive variety of sophisticated medical imaging services to enhance patient care and promote the well-being of the community. Our facilities include one CT scanner, ultrasound imaging, basic interventional radiology services, and dedicated diagnostic mammography.
