Maintenance Supervisor Role Description: This role is responsible for planning and overseeing machine and equipment maintenance schedules to ensure operational efficiency. The supervisor will lead and manage a team, promote safety practices, and evaluate and recommend machinery replacements or repairs. Key Tasks: - Plan and implement repair and maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment. - Collaborate with Plant Supervisors to ensure facilities operate efficiently. - Evaluate and recommend machinery replacements or repairs. - Supervise and allocate tasks to millwrights based on operational needs. - Order machine parts and specialty tools as required. - Train and motivate employees on inspection operations and quality standards. - Promote safety practices and resources, including PPE and accident investigations. - Ensure department KPIs are met and identify improvements when necessary. - Verify employee time records for payroll purposes. - Conduct toolbox meetings to address safety agendas. Requirements: The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, 5+ years of experience in a machine shop setting, and a journeyman machinist or millwright status. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Dynamics AX software is preferred, along with knowledge of oil and gas industry products and services.
