Job Title

Looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and picking runs for drivers for next day deliveries, managing inventory, and ensuring efficient workflows. They also supervise warehouse staff, implement safety protocols, and maintain compliance with company policies and regulations. Must have a valid forklift operator card. 1. Operations Management: * Overseeing Daily Operations:Managing and coordinating all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods. * Inventory Management:recording and verifying orders received, ensuring accurate records, notifying management and suppliers of any short orders, and implementing inventory systems. * Workload Management:Supervising warehouse staffs productivity, optimizing workflow, and implementing strategies to improve efficiency. * Logistics Coordination:Overseeing the flow of goods from suppliers to customers, coordinating with transport companies 2. Team Leadership and Supervision: * Staff Management:Training, supervising, and evaluating warehouse staff to ensure productivity and performance. * Performance Management:Monitoring employee performance, providing feedback, and addressing issues to improve team effectiveness. 3. Safety and Compliance: * Safety Protocols:Implementing and enforcing safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff. * Compliance:Ensuring adherence to company policies and regulations, as well as industry standards and legal requirements. * Maintenance:Overseeing the maintenance of warehouse equipment notifying regional manager of any repairs needed, and facilities to ensure their safe and efficient operation. 4. Other Responsibilities: * Quality Control:Ensuring the quality of goods received and shipped, and implementing quality control measures. * Communication:Communicating with suppliers, office staff, and transport companies to ensure smooth operations and address any issues. * Reporting:Preparing reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other relevant metrics. * Problem Solving:Identifying and addressing problems or issues that may arise in the warehouse, such as delays or shortages.
