We are searching for our next great Director, Commercial Mortgages.OverviewThis role is fully remote for the right candidate! Our Directors are instrumental in reviewing and analyzing new commercial, multifamily and construction mortgage opportunities, preparing and reviewing loan presentation packages, assisting in other aspects of the loan process, training and mentoring analyst, and assisting in fostering a strong working relationship with our clients and amongst our team. You will be offered a competitive compensation and benefits package, including: $120,000 - $140,000 base salary, plus 20-25% bonus, and full benefits, paid for by us!Profile Of Education & ExperienceMinimum of 10 years of related work experience in a commercial, multifamily or construction real estate role such as commercial mortgage lending, appraisal, brokerage, asset management or quantity surveyor. Minimum of 7 years of direct and consistent exposure to multifamily, commercial and/or construction mortgage lending (working with a commercial mortgage lender or brokerage)Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role in commercial real estate mortgagesMinimum of 3 years of direct experience liaising with the CMHC on the fulfillment of multifamily mortgage deals. Foundational Skills & CompetenciesExperience writing and reviewing clear, detailed reports incorporating relevant facts and figures.
