Job Title: Executive Vice President Mining & Technical ConsultingLocation: Remote (Canada)Employment Type: ConsultantCompensation: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)Equity/share opportunity availableAbout the Opportunity:Skyline Recruitment is working exclusively with a highly regarded Canadian geological and mining consulting firm to identify an Executive Vice President (EVP) to support the firm's continued growth and succession planning.This is a remote, flexible, consultant-based senior leadership role designed for a P.Eng. or Geological Engineer with a minimum of 20 years of mining and technical consulting experience. The ideal candidate will bring a strong engineering foundation, a thorough understanding of geology and resource development, and proven leadership in managing technical teams and client relationships.The EVP will collaborate directly with senior leadership on internal operations, project oversight, technical deliverables, and long-term strategic planning.Key Responsibilities: Technical & Project OversightLead or oversee mineral resource estimates, engineering studies, and NI 43-101 reportingProvide technical direction and troubleshooting across multidisciplinary mining projectsMonitor project schedules, consultant utilization, quality assurance, and compliance Leadership & OperationsParticipate in high-level strategic decisions and business planningMentor and review performance of independent technical consultantsSupport policy development and internal workflow improvementContribute to recruitment and onboarding of new senior-level consultants Client Management & Stakeholder EngagementMaintain strong relationships with clients, assisting in technical presentations and solutionsManage client expectations, resolve delivery issues, and act as senior liaisonEngage with regulators, professional associations, and securities commissions as neededRequired Qualifications:20+ years of experience in mining operations, engineering consulting, or geology/mineral developmentProfessional designation: P.Eng.
