The Quality Control Technician, under the direction of the Planer Supervisor, is responsible for ensuring superior product quality and value optimization across operations while remaining in compliance with applicable company standards and programs. Understand and comply with all company policies and procedures. Ensure that Company quality standards are effectively implemented. Help identify areas where we may be exposed to safety hazards and assist in the development of new SWPs. Ensure operational excellence in quality control, data management, inventory control and manufacturing. Conduct daily quality control audits across operations. Identify and communicate key indicators of performance. Post secondary studies in forestry, wood science, or manufacturing an asset. One (1) year of experience in quality control inspections, or equivalent is an asset Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and Manufacturing software''s Working knowledge of regulatory agency quality assurance/control activities Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written 00 per hour Extended health benefits including health, dental, vision, travel, Health Spending Account and RRSP program.
