A leading Canadian transportation company is hiring a Safety, Security & Environment Advisor. This organization is a key player in international trade and presents a compelling opportunity to influence the health, safety, and security landscape within a well-established and collaborative organization.The Role:As a key member of the Safety, Security & Environment team, youll help drive a culture of safety through proactive leadership, risk reduction, and continuous improvement. Youll take the lead on incident investigations, hazard assessments, inspections, training coordination, data reporting, and stakeholder engagement, with a primary focus on workplace safety, while also supporting security and environmental compliance.Responsibilities:Conduct root cause investigations and lead corrective action plans.Coordinate and lead job hazard assessments, inspections, and site audits.Maintain and analyze safety data to identify trends and reduce incidents.Facilitate H&S committee operations, safety training, and learning opportunities across diverse workgroups.Qualifications:35 years of experience in safety, security, and/or environmental roles.Strong command of safety regulations, hazard assessments, and audit processes.Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle.Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation is an asset.
