POSITION OVERVIEWUnity Managing Underwriters Limited is hiring for a Sales Co-Ordinator Commercial Underwriting and will provide support to the VP of Sales in the maintenance of existing accounts. The CSR / Sales Co-Ordinator will also assist in developing profitable, long-term accounts using a combination of leads and prospecting for the National Specialty Risk Insurance program.RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide product and Admin support as part of a sales team for the existing client base.Working as part of a sales team to develop existing opportunities and create new relationships that fit into the current objectives of the company as a wholeProvide ongoing support to the Sales manager as part of the role.While working in a team environment, provide exceptional service to clients and support for other team members as requiredApply for licensing, training and continuing education where needed as part of progressive career developmentCommunicate results, outstanding issues, national industry trends and business opportunities to the Management teamBuild strong relationships with accounts to support existing business and generate new business opportunities where appropriateProvide support for special projects and any other duties as requiredREQUIREMENTS:Fluency (verbal and written) in the following languages: French, Punjabi, Hindi Minimum 5 years of demonstrated sales experience preferredLLQP and or RIBO licensing are an assetMust have reliable car and drivers license as some travel will be involved in this roleIn-depth technical knowledge and experience working in group creditor life, disability and related property/casualty lines of businessKnowledge of Commercial underwriting principles, concepts and methodologiesKnowledge of both the automobile and commercial finance and leasing industriesAbility to work well independently as well as part of a teamStrong oral and written communication skillsComputer skills including Microsoft OfficeSuperior customer service skills and business acumenNavacord is actively committed to support diversity, equity, and inclusion.
