Job Title: Construction Superintendent Location: Hamilton, Ontario Salary: Up to $150,000 + Bonus Structure Benefits: Comprehensive Benefits Package Position Overview: As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the full life cycle of wood frame multi-family residential construction projectsfrom site preparation through to final handover. You will be the on-site leader, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities:Lead on-site construction activities and manage all phases of construction life cycle.Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and tradespeople.Oversee wood frame multi-family builds, ensuring adherence to drawings, specifications, and schedules.Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control measures.Maintain detailed daily site reports, project schedules, and progress documentation.Collaborate with Project Managers, architects, and engineers to resolve issues and streamline workflows.Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with Ontario Building Code and local regulations.Manage logistics, including deliveries, equipment, and materials.Mentor junior site staff and promote a culture of teamwork and accountability.Qualifications:Minimum 710 years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong focus on wood frame multi-family residential projects in Canada.Proven track record of managing full project life cycles from start to finish.Extensive knowledge of construction techniques, site safety, scheduling, and Ontario Building Code.Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Proficiency in project management and scheduling software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Buildertrend).Valid drivers license and ability to travel locally as needed.Gold Seal Certification or relevant construction/designation an asset.What We Offer:Competitive base salary up to $150,000, based on experience.Performance-based bonus structure.Full benefits package, including health, dental, and RRSP matching.A collaborative and safety-first work environment.Long-term growth opportunities within a reputable and expanding company.
