About the RoleA well-established construction company is seeking a Construction Estimator with 25 years of experience to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and eager to take on responsibility in preparing accurate and competitive estimates for a variety of construction projects.Key ResponsibilitiesReview drawings, specifications, and tender documents to develop detailed cost estimatesConduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis using industry-standard estimating softwareSolicit and evaluate quotes from subcontractors and suppliersAssist in the preparation of bid packages, budgets, and proposalsCoordinate with project teams to assess scope, risk, and construction methodsMaintain historical cost data for use in budgeting and value engineeringParticipate in internal handoff meetings to support successful project executionQualifications25 years of experience in a construction estimating role (ICCI, commercial, institutional, or residential projects preferred)Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related fieldProficiency in estimating tools such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or equivalentStrong understanding of construction documents and building practicesExcellent organizational and analytical skillsStrong communication skills for liaising with subcontractors and internal teams
