Their wide range of test equipment is the first choice of engineers and technicians working in various industry sectors electric utilities, manufacturing, infrastructure, transportation, telecom, and more.Role OverviewThe Technical Inside Sales Representative will be located in our clients Toronto, Ontario officeand will be responsible for assisting with the growth of their electrical test and measurementdivision.Key ResponsibilitiesManage all incoming sales inquiries by phone and email to provide technical and salesassistance to new and existing customers and distributorsProvide support to outside sales reps and internal staff; act as the conduit betweencustomers and outside sales reps as neededProvide pricing, complete quotations, respond to tender requests, and offer technicalassistance to both internal and external customersProcess orders and assist with other sales and administrative tasks as requiredProduce regular reports relating to sales, revenues, customers, etc.Build and maintain relationships with customers, outside sales reps, distributors, andinternal departmentsMaintain, update, and enter information into the companys SAP/ERP and CRM systemsQualificationsDegree or certificate in a technical field (electrical/electronic preferred)1+ years of experience in a customer service or technical sales role, preferably in anelectronics environmentStrong customer service and sales focus with the ability to support both external andinternal stakeholdersProficient computer skills, with above-average knowledge of MS Office, SAP, and CRMsystemsHighly organized and detail-oriented, with strong written and verbal communication skillsExperience with quote preparation, tender responses, and CRM upkeepKnowledge of the utility and electrical testing industry is an assetBilingual in English and French is preferable
