Celebrated for their innovation and quality, they empower electrical professionals globally in diagnosing and maintaining vital infrastructure, boosting operational efficiency and ensuring safety.About the jobThe Bilingual Technical Inside Sales Representative will be located in our clients Markham, Ontario office and plays a key role in supporting our clients growth within the electrical test and measurement division. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work directly with customers and distributors, assisting them with technical inquiries and sales support. You will be the liaison between the internal team and external partners, ensuring that orders are processed, quotations are provided, and customer needs are met efficiently. The role combines technical knowledge with sales expertise, providing a dynamic environment where you will be able to contribute to the companys success while developing your skills in a growing industry. ResponsibilitiesManage all incoming sales inquiries by phone and email to provide technical and sales assistance to new and existing customers and distributors.Provide support to outside sales reps and internal staff and act as the conduit between customers and outside sales reps when required.Provide pricing, complete quotations, respond to tender requests, provide technical assistance to both internal and external customers, process orders, and assist with other sales and administrative tasks as required.Produce regular reports relating to sales, revenues, customers, etc.Build and maintain relationships with customers, outside sales reps, distributors, our clients manufacturing facilities, and others.Maintain, update, and enter information into our clients SAP/ERP and CRM systems.QualificationsDegree/certificate in a technical field (electrical/electronic preferred).1+ years of experience in a customer service or technical sales role, preferably in an electronics environment.Strong customer service and sales focus with the ability to take care of both external and internal customers.Strong computer skills with above-average knowledge of MS Office, in-house systems (e.g., SAP), and CRM programs.Detailed and well-organized with strong communication skills written and oral.Experience with quote preparation, tender responses, and CRM upkeep.A knowledge of the utility and electrical testing industry would be an asset.Bilingual in English/French.
