Are you a detail-oriented professional with a background in document control? We are seeking an experienced Field Document Controller to join our clients dynamic team and be part of a leading Energy Project, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth flow of information and documentation across their major project based in Edmonton, AB.AbouttheRole:AstheFieldDocumentController, you'llberesponsibleformanagingprojectdocumentationandensuringcompliancewithdocumentcontrolproceduresandstandards. Thissignificantroleincludesorganizing,tracking,anddistributingprojectdocuments,maintainingdocumentdatabases,andsupporting the construction, engineering and project teams.KeyResponsibilities:Establishandmaintaindocumentcontrolproceduresandstandardsthatmeetprojectrequirementsandadheretoindustrybestpractices.Organizeandmaintaincomprehensiveprojectdocumentation,includingdrawings,specifications,contracts,andcorrespondence.Collaboratecloselywithprojectmanagers,constructionandengineerstoguaranteetimelyandaccuratedocumentationdelivery.Trackdocumentrevisionsandupdatestoensureaccurateversioncontrolanddistributionthroughouttheprojectlifecycle.Coordinatedocumentreviewsandapprovalswithprojectteams,clients,andstakeholderstoensuretimelyprogress.Managedocumentdatabasesandrepositories,facilitatingdocumentstorage,retrieval,andarchivingprocesses.Generatereportsandmetricstomonitordocumentcontrolactivitiesandperformanceefficiently.Tobesuccessful:Bachelor'sdegreeinBusinessAdministration,InformationManagement,orrelatedfieldProven field experienceasaDocumentControllerorRecordsManager preferrably within Oil & Gas with construction,piping, engineering teamsWorkingknowledgeofdocumentcontrolprinciples,procedures,andstandards.Proficiencyindocumentmanagementsoftwareandtools(e.g.,SharePointorDocumentum)ExceptionalattentiontodetailandorganizationalskillsStrongcommunicationandinterpersonalskills,withaprovenabilitytoworkeffectivelyinateamenvironmentBelocaltoEdmontonAreaorcanself-accommodateBelegallyentitledtoworkinCanadaHoldavaliddriveslicenseKnowthisisafull-timecontract onsiterole,48+hoursperweekOur role in supportingdiversityandinclusion As an international workforce business, we are committed to sourcing personnel that reflects the diversity and values of our client base but also that of Orion Group.
