A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE LOCATION MANAGER In this dynamic role, the Location Manager oversees all aspects of branch operationsfrom customer engagement and sales support to inventory control and facility upkeep. Youll build trusted relationships with local producers, offering agronomic guidance, crop planning support, and product recommendations. While managing the movement of crop inputs like seed, fertilizer, and crop protection products, you also handle forecasting, ordering, and inventory reconciliation. The role includes leading a small team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, however seasonal hours may vary. Minimum 23 years of experience in ag retail or 5+ years in agricultural sales Valid Class 5 Drivers License with a clean driving abstract Proven experience in field scouting, input planning, and crop protection Strong interpersonal and communication skills Familiarity with the local agriculture community Preference will be given to those with post-secondary education in Agronomy, Crop Technology, or Agricultural Business along with working knowledge of ag retail software systems. A strong understanding of the regional market and producer needs will further support success in this role.
