Job Description We are seeking a Commissioning Manager for the Airport Terminal project in Mississauga. This on-site role involves leading commissioning activities to ensure the successful handover of building systems and assets, contributing to one of the most advanced and sustainable airports globally. Responsibilities Develop and implement commissioning strategies and plans in collaboration with contractors. Participate in design reviews to align project objectives with commissioning requirements. Review and validate contractor testing and commissioning plans; oversee execution across all project phases. Provide technical guidance to internal teams and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct site observations, prepare detailed reports, and assess project progress and compliance. Optimize workflows and processes to improve efficiency and team performance. Prepare and present management and executive reports on commissioning status, risks, and mitigation strategies. Minimum Qualifications University Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field. At least 8 years of relevant experience in commissioning or related roles. Preferred Qualifications Over 10 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, with at least 5 years in management roles. Experience in the aviation sector is highly desirable. Proficiency in commissioning mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general systems. Proven success in commissioning major assets in operational, regulated environments. Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and risk management. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Technical proficiency across project phases with problem-solving capabilities. Additional Information This role requires on-site work five days a week in Mississauga.
