Airswift is seeking a detail-oriented HR Generalist to support our client, a mining company in Kitimat, BC on a 6-month contract. We are looking for a HR generalist who will support both the local HR team as well as our Talent Acquisition team with certain recruitment related tasks. Working in collaboration with the local onsite HR team and the Talent Acquisition Partner, you will deliver streamlined HR support to a defined client base and provide transactional and administrative support to leaders and employees across our BC Works Operations in Kitimat. Working five days a week and reporting to the Team Leader, Human Resources, at site, you will be responsible for: Providing operational and administrative HR support to the Regional HR Operations team, HRBPs, leaders and employees at site; Managing human resource transactions to ensure accurate organisational hierarchy and employee data is maintained; Providing HR administrative support for all areas within the employee lifecycle including parental leave, terms and conditions, organizational structure changes, etc.; Ensuring accurate, reliable and efficient entry of data relative to employee information into the HR data management system Workday; In supporting the Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be supporting the following: Candidate Relationship Building: You may be the key point of contact for candidates, offering support in screening, shortlisting, and scheduling interviews and helping with the coordination of onsite assessment centers. Your exceptional communication skills will be essential in fostering positive relationships with candidates, making them feel valued throughout the process. Collaborative Coordination: Coordinating with multiple stakeholders is essential in this role. You''ll work closely with various team members to troubleshoot any issues that arise, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process. Attention to Detail: With a high volume of requests, consistency and accuracy are crucial. Your keen eye for detail will be invaluable in ensuring that nothing slips through the cracks, making our recruitment process seamless and efficient.
