Job Overview Reporting to the District Manager of Store Operations, the Store Manager is responsible for planning, directing, managing, and evaluating overall store operations to support the companys short and long-term goals. This includes controlling store standards, leading the team to achieve KPIs, building and managing staff, creating a positive customer experience, staff engagement, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Company Background T&T Supermarket Inc., founded in 1993 in BC, is now Canadas largest Asian supermarket chain with 36 stores across the country, expanding rapidly with new stores planned in the coming years. Key Responsibilities Store Operations Management & Standards Control: Manage overall store operations to meet company goals Collaborate on revenue, expense, and profit targets Guide merchandise, inventory, pricing, and freshness strategies Enforce standards like cleanliness, safety, pest control, and liaise with government bodies Implement loss prevention and marketing strategies Performance Management: Manage sales, costs, and profits across departments Oversee expenses, budgets, and strategic planning Analyze market trends to inform pricing and promotional strategies Customer and People Management: Deliver excellent customer service and resolve complaints Manage staffing, hiring, and training for team development Provide feedback, recognize performance, and foster career growth Administration & Others: Handle store administration, maintenance, incidents, and stakeholder relations Organize staff events to boost engagement Qualifications Post-secondary education 5+ years in supermarket management with team leadership experience (10+ direct reports) Proven leadership, decision-making, and communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) Knowledge of MS Office applications Willingness to travel (
