Reporting to the General Manager, you can help us take True North to the next level!Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Director, responsible for the on-air productBe a part of the community; live, work, and play here in the local market / community.Host an entertaining show listeners can relate to, live and locally focused.Music scheduling software knowledge a must, G-Selector would be terrific!Know how to prep a great show for our audience! Assist to develop creative promotionsVoice track shifts as necessaryBe keen with social media (Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube)Voice commercials for other Vista properties as neededCommunity liaison for the stationHost station on-location broadcasts as assignedAny other relevant duties that may be assigned from time to timeJob RequirementsPassion for all things radio and the desire to lead a small team to successKnowledge with G-Selector or similar music scheduling softwareStrong verbal and written communication skillsPost-secondary broadcast training from an accredited institutionA valid class 5 driver's licenseWorking familiarity with Adobe AuditionDemonstrated ability to use and excel with social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc)Comprehensive knowledge or experience working in a small market is an assetAt Vista Radio, we're more than just a workplace; we're a community of people committed to making a difference.
